The organisers may remove or disqualify any participant whose behaviour threatens safety, disrupts the event or violates these terms. Where race numbers, timing devices or identification materials are issued, they must be worn or used as instructed. Race numbers must remain visible and must not be altered, duplicated or exchanged. Participants who fail to follow the designated route, miss required checkpoints or use unauthorised assistance may be disqualified or excluded from official results. Cycling Requirements Cycling participants must use a bicycle that is safe and suitable for the activity. The use of an appropriately fitted cycling helmet is required. Cyclists must follow all instructions issued by event officials and observe applicable road-safety requirements. Each cyclist is responsible for their bicycle, helmet and other personal equipment. Children and Participants Under 18 Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian may be required to complete or approve the registration and must accept responsibility for the minor’s participation. The organisers may introduce age restrictions for particular race categories where necessary for participant safety. A participant may be withdrawn from the event where medical personnel or event officials reasonably believe that continuing would place the participant or others at risk. Where emergency treatment or transportation is required, the participant remains responsible for any personal medical expenses not covered by the event arrangements or their own insurance. Personal Belongings Participants are responsible for their clothing, mobile phones, bicycles, equipment, money and other personal belongings.
