Kwenda is proud to announce that it has been awarded Malawi’s E-commerce Platform of the Year 2026 at the ICTAM Corporate Awards 2026, organized by the Information and Communication Technology Association of Malawi (ICTAM). 🏆

The award was presented during the ICTAM Corporate Awards Gala Dinner held on Friday, 5 June 2026, marking a second award in two months, having awarded Malawi’s Most Scalable Solution last month at the Inagural Malawi National Innovation Awards. This is another major milestone in Kwenda’s journey in building Africa’s first Digital Travel Infrastructure; digitizing and simplifying access to travel, events, and experiences in Malawi and across Africa. 🎉

This recognition highlights Kwenda’s role in improving how people discover and access events and services through digital platforms, making experiences more seamless for both users and organisers. 🌍

A key part of Kwenda’s growth has been its e-ticketing platform, which allows users to discover events, purchase tickets online, and gain smooth access to events across the country. It has also supported organisers in managing ticketing and improving event reach, revenue assurance and attendance. 🎟️

Kwenda extends its appreciation to ICTAM for organizing the ICTAM Corporate Awards and for continuing to recognize innovation within Malawi’s technology sector.
